Yellow Folder: Please check this folder each night, empty it, and have your child bring this folder to school everyday! I have added your child’s student id on the inside cover of their folder.

It is important for all students/families to join our class’s Google Classroom. You must use your child’s district email (5 digit#@stjoebears.com) address. I put your child’s 5 digit number inside their yellow folder. Please email me if you still need their number. Please go to classroom.google.com, click the + sign in the top right corner, click join class and enter our specific class code:xflss7i. I have also invited each student to join! Last Week:
We had a great first FULL week of school learning our classroom, classmates, and reviewing our rules and expectations. We practiced a fire drill as a class twice, made an apple craft, learned our calendar songs, discussed Constitution Day by talking about how our country has rules just like our homes and classroom, along with coloring in an American Flag, and singing a flag song! Students enjoyed meeting new friends, going to all Special classes (Music, Art, Gym, and Library), playing in centers: Blocks, Writing, Big Books, Library, Dramatic Play, and listening to new stories: Pete the Cat, I Love my White Shoes, The Boy Who Wouldn’t Share, Fill a Bucket, and Llama, llama loves to Read!
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thank you,
Abby Schmidt
